Two federal contractors were arrested for allegedly deleting 96 government databases and sensitive records minutes after being fired. The defendants, previously convicted of similar crimes in 2015, attempted to cover their tracks by using an AI chatbot to learn how to clear SQL server logs and Windows event logs. Despite their efforts to destroy evidence, including wiping their laptops three days later, prosecutors obtained sufficient records to charge them with conspiracy to destroy government databases.

GitHub's new Files changed page now includes an Overview button that displays pull request descriptions inline, eliminating the need to switch tabs or scroll. The update also includes performance improvements for faster navigation, with more optimizations planned for the coming weeks. The feature is currently in public preview.

I’ve used NestJS for many years. After AI Coding came to dominate the development process, the convenience of AI tools for frontend frameworks and some backend cloud services led me to stop using NestJS for backend code for a time. Spec-Driven Development has brought AI Coding back to an orderly, spec-driven workflow. Now I often pair a frontend framework—such as React or Vue—with a NestJS backend.
